Frank Byrne has been named chief compliance officer of New Bedford-based Southcoast Health System. He most recently served as director of corporate compliance. He is a certified public accountant. Byrne is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and chairman of the compliance committee for the Massachusetts chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Management.
