Gail Alofsin has been named director of corporate partnerships and sponsorships at the Newport Harbor Corporation. She is responsible for sponsorship sales for all of Newport Harbor Corporation’s properties, with a concentration on the Newport Yachting Center and the events that are held there. In addition, she develops and coordinates joint marketing opportunities between each sponsor and each of the designated properties. Alofsin serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Rhode Island. She is a legislative appointee to the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors. She is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Mass. Alofsin and her family live in Newport.
