Daniel M. Silverman has been appointed vice president at BankNewport. He also serves a branch manager of the bank’s Middletown office, where he is responsible for customer service, business development and staff development. Silverman joined the bank in 1998. He received a Rhode Island Life and Health Insurance Producers License. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. Silverman received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He and his family live in East Greenwich.
