John B. Ducksworth has been named director of Providence-based Discovery House. He has held similar positions at substance abuse treatment programs in Mass. and N.Y. Ducksworth holds an associate’s degree from Dutchess Community College in N.Y., a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, master’s degrees from DeVry University in N.Y. and New York Theological Seminary. He lives in West Falmouth, Mass.
