Patrick Canning, managing partner for KPMG LLP’s Providence office, was recently awarded the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Community Service by the firm. He has been with the company for over 20 years. Canning is a resident of Cumberland. In recognition of this award, KPMG will donate $1,000 to the Providence Black Repertory Company in Canning’s name.
