Brian F. Stainken has been appointed chairman of the department of diagnostic imaging at Roger Williams Medical Center and he has been named president of the Imaging Network of Rhode Island. His duties include overseeing the radiology physician group and the medical support staff. Stainken is board certified in diagnostic radiology and has a certificate of added qualification in vascular and interventional radiology from the American Board of Radiology. He most recently held the position of chief of division of vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Stainken is the annual meeting chairman of the Society for Interventional Radiology.
