Representative Gordon Fox (D-Dist. 5) of Providence will be honored by the Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation tomorrow for his work to increase affordable housing available to Rhode Islanders.
Fox will be among five community leaders and organizations receiving the corporation’s 2001 Partners-in-Housing Award, which honors outstanding work in creating affordable housing for low and moderate income residents. Rhode Island General Treasurer Paul J. Tavares, who is a member of RI Housing’s Board of Commissioners, will present the awards at a ceremony held in the House Lounge on the second floor of the State House.
