Boston’s Cingular Wireless network receives highest rating

BOSTON, Mass. – Cingular Wireless’s wireless network in the Boston market garnered the highest rating available (“5 stars”) for overall wireless network performance as reported by independent research and advisory firm Telephia. The ratings, based on a composite score including quality coverage, dropped call and blocked call performance, have been measured in 2001. Cingular earned top ranking in four of its five largest markets, with nine of Cingular’s top ten markets earning either four or five star ratings.
