RIDOT Transportation Enhancement program seeks proposals

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation and the Transportation Enhancement Advisory Committee have issued a call for projects to continue the Transportation Enhancement program funded by the federal Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century.

To help potential applicants become familiar with the application process, RIDOT and TEAC are conducting regional workshops throughout Rhode Island. Representatives of cities, towns, non-profit groups and citizens may wish to attend. The schedule is as follows:

  • The Enhancement project is a non-traditional transportation improvement with a link to the intermodal transportation system. Enhancements serve to integrate a transportation facility into the surrounding community and natural environment.
