EDC executive resigns 2 posts

PROVIDENCE — Jim Waterman, chief operating officer and chief financial officer
for the quasi-public Economic Development Corporation resigned last week after
12 months on the job.

Clare Eckert, an EDC spokesperson said Waterman, is returning to the private sector.

In the past two months, five EDC employees have left the organization, including Ron V. Pantalano, general manager of the Quonset/Davisville Park, Joseph Hammang, vice president for science, technology, and business development, and Darrel A. Brown, director of urban policy and development. Waterman is the sixth.
