Robert G. Salmonsen has been appointed vice president and investment officer and will serve as portfolio manager at Washington Trust’s main office in Westerly. He serves as chairman of the Noank Baptist Church Endowment Fund Investment Committee and is a member of the Springfield College Endowment Fund Investment Committee. He received his bachelor’s degree from Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Salmonsen resides in Groton Long Point, Connecticut with his family.
