Layoffs continue to spread in Bay State

CAMBRIDGE — Art Technology Group, Inc. announced that it was firing 150 workers,
or 12 percent of its staff, in order to reduce costs, the Boston Globe reported.
Art Technology makes software that helps its customers to run Internet sites.
The company announced it would take an unspecified charge in the second quarter
to offset costs related to severance and other job-cut related circumstances.
