The Rhode Island Hospital board of trustees has named Victor Capellan as a member. Capellan is the facilitator of student registration and placement at the Providence School Department. He was formerly executive director at the Center for Hispanic Policy and Advocacy (ChisPA) in Providence. Capellan previously served in leadership positions at Progreso Latino and the Memorial Union Center for Leadership Development at the University of Rhode Island.
