Fallon Health Plan reports net gain

WORCESTER — Fallon Community Health Plan has reported a net gain of $6.7 million
on revenue of $585 million in fiscal 2000, along with an operating gain of $1.3
million. Fallon, which reports 209,000 members, posted a loss of $12.8 million.
Fallon attributed its reduced losses to an increase in premiums and a reduction
in administrative costs, the Boston Globe reported.
