GTECH to let 80 more workers go

WEST GREENWICH — GTECH Corp. announced it was laying off 80 workers, including
20 in Rhode Island. The company also announced it was taking a charge for its
fourth quarter which ended February 24. The $4 million to $6 million charge is
related to job reductions, the company announced. GTECH has been trimming jobs
and cutting costs since last August in which it has described as a restructuring
program.
