Lori Backman has been promoted to account executive at Thomas Rankin Associates of East Greenwich. She will manage client accounts, coordinate project activities and provide editorial support for clients in a number of fields including biotechnology, plastics and sporting goods manufacturing. Backman has been employed at Thomas Rankin Associates for three years, working previously as account coordinator and production manager. She graduated from Rhode Island College with degrees in communications and English. She resides in Pawtucket with her husband, John La Terra Bellina, Esq.
