CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Bloomberg) — Cambridge Technology Partners Inc., a computer consultant, said it cut about 280 jobs and is lowering its revenue expectations for the fourth quarter. The company, based in Cambridge, said it will take a charge of $4 million to $5 million in the fourth quarter to cover severance costs. About 240 of the affected workers were fired and the rest left through attrition, Cambridge Technology spokesman Patrick Mooney said. In October, Cambridge Technology said it fired about 400 workers because of reduced demand for its services
