Scott Lajoie has been promoted to assistant vice president at First Bank and Trust Company of Providence. He will originate and underwrite Small Business Administration, commercial and consumer loans and manage collections. He is assigned to the bank’s Providence branch. Lajoie previously served as lending officer and collections manager at First Bank. He was formerly employed as collections manager at Old Stone Bank’s Warwick branch. He graduated from Coventry High School in 1989 and attended the Community College of Rhode Island. He resides in Warwick with his wife Nancy.
