British Telecom selects RSA Security for wireless protection

BEDFORD, Mass. (PRNewswire) — RSA Security Inc., a provider of e-securityTM, has been selected by British Telecom (BT) to provide access protection to BT’s critical wireless applications. The company will embed RSA’s SecurIDR authentication software in its latest Ericsson R380s “smartphone” and distribute the phones to internal employees. According to RSA, SecurID will also allow Ericsson R380s users to consolidate the number of wireless devices they use.
