AAA: Gasoline prices rise another three cents

The price of gasoline is on the rise again, according to the latest survey of local gasoline prices by AAA Southern New England.

The auto club’s May 29 survey of Rhode Island gasoline prices found the average price of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline averaging $1.78 per gallon, the highest price yet. The survey found the average price of self-serve, midgrade unleaded gasoline to be $1.88; with premium averaging $1.96; and diesel averaging $1.67.
