Providence, R.I. (November 16, 2010) — (add)ventures, a multidisciplinary digital brand communications firm headquartered in Providence, R.I., has earned two awards through the 2010 Interactive Media Awards (IMA) competition, which recognizes the highest standards of excellence in website design and development. The firm garnered an IMA Outstanding Achievement Award in the ‘Sports’ category for its work on the CVS Caremark Charity Classic website and an IMA Best In Class Award in the Fashion/Style category for its work on the Jessica Ricci Jewelry website.

“These awards honor the engaging stories of our diverse client partners and the amazing skills of (add)ventures strategists and designers who bring them to life digitally,” said Steve Rosa, founder and CEO of (add)ventures. “We are very proud of the websites we created for both the CVS Caremark Charity Classic and Jessica Ricci Jewelry – two very different organizations, one in sports and the other in fashion – but each best in class.”

Rosa added, “We strive for perfection and always look to be one step ahead of technology. We hold ourselves to the highest standards — the same standards the IMA judges look for in these awards. We are grateful for such tremendous recognition.”

The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. The awards competition is open to individuals and organizations involved in designing, developing, managing, supporting and promoting websites. The IMA competition was created and is managed by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals. Judges of the competition evaluate websites based on five criteria: Design, Content, Feature Functionality, Usability and Standards Compliance.
