Arnold Worldwide buys St. Louis agency

BOSTON — Arnold Worldwide announced that it is acquiring Simmons Durham, a St.
Louis, Mo., ad agency. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Simmons Durham
will now become Arnold Worldwide and operate much as the company’s Washington
and San Francisco branches do. The Boston Globe reported that Simmons Durham had
$71 million in billings and 32 employees. Arnold Worldwide, a unit of the French
advertising agency, Havas Advertising, reports $1.3 billion in annual billings.
