BankNewport is pleased to announce that Cheryl Galloway has been named assistant vice president, community lending officer. In her new role, Galloway is responsible for facilitating the loan process for clients, including first-time homebuyers, reviewing credit reports, income, and assets information, and advising on loan programs that best fit their needs.
Galloway brings more than 20 years’ experience in client and customer relationships. She was most recently Director of Admissions at TIMES2 STEM Academy for 10 years.

Galloway holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Charter Oak State College with a concentration in Urban and Community Studies and is fluent in Spanish. A Native of Honduras, Central America, she currently resides in Providence.
