Benchmark adds eight assisted living centers

WELLESLEY HILLS — Benchmark Assisted Living has added new communities to its
organization, bringing the total number of such communities to 23, all in New
England. Of the eight communities added, seven are in Massachusetts, the eighth
in New Hampshire. Charlesbank Capital Partners has allotted $22.5 million to help
Benchmark finance the acquisition. The additions are in Billerica, Chelmsford,
Haverhill, Leominster, Plymouth, Shrewsbury, and Waltham, all in Massachusetts,
and Nashua, N.H.
