PROVIDENCE — Blackstone Caterers , a full-service caterer for corporate and social events, said it plans to acquire Bristol-based Ninety Eight State Caterers.
Blackstone merged with the Gatehouse Catering Company last fall. Its acquisition of Ninety Eight State will extend its service from Bristol to New Bedford, Cape Cod and Boston, said manager Elena deMedeiros. Founded in 1945, the company says it is the largest catering business in Rhode Island.
