BOSTON – The Boston Redevelopment Authority has approved construction of a 20-story, 420-room hotel on Atlantic Avenue along Fort Point Channel. The building would include 140 condominiums on top of the hotel, the Boston Globe reported. The land is owned by Boston Edison, a subsidiary of Nstar, though a sales agreement with an undisclosed out-of-town buyer is reported. The hotel-condo construction is designed to mask the 14, 237-foot exhaust stacks being built for the Central Artery tunnel project.
