CAITLYN BABBIDGE started her career at Amgen Rhode Island (ARI) in 2021 as a Manufacturing Associate in the protein purification department of the site’s Single Use Manufacturing Facility. In her four years at Amgen, she has helped to transition the facility from a start-up to a commercial manufacturing facility while taking on roles of increasing responsibility. She currently serves as a Senior Manufacturing Associate and Shift Lead in purification.

Caitlyn has led operations through the commissioning and qualification of three new products, with several more in the facility’s pipeline. She contributes not only to operations, but also to continuous improvement initiatives to help increase product lot run rates to serve more patients. As a member of night shift manufacturing, she has also led many troubleshooting scenarios with cross-functional teams at night to ensure operator safety, product quality, and production schedule maintenance outside of normal business hours.
Outside of work, Caitlyn is an avid New England sports fan who enjoys attending women’s hockey games, especially the Boston Fleet of the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
