Currently serving as a Senior Associate II in Manufacturing – Purification, Elizabeth leads daily floor operations, supports cross-functional collaboration, and mentors team members through coaching and training. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of Purification processes, from aseptic Drug Substance Final Fill to equipment operation including Protein Chromatography skids and viral filtration systems.
Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in packing/maintenance for large-scale chromatography columns, Elizabeth serves as a role model to other women in the company, providing outstanding leadership and technical expertise in her position.
Prior to her current role, Elizabeth advanced through increasing responsibilities at Amgen as a Manufacturing Associate, where she led process monitoring, deviation investigations, and shift leadership duties. She attributes her strong leadership, safety, and problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, autonomous settings to her military background and early career in the United States Navy.
