Dassault’s Simulia offers new SLM products

PROVIDENCE – Simulia, a division of Paris-based Dassault Systèmes, announced on May 15 a new portfolio of simulation lifecycle management (SLM) products.

Simulia’s SLM product portfolio is the result of bringing together the benefits of managing simulation data, applications and processes with a simulation environment. It enables companies to integrate simulation earlier and more effectively into their product and process development activities and fully leverage their simulation expertise as a valuable corporate asset.
In addition to a standard Web interface, the new Simulia SLM products will utilize the recently announced 3DLive technology from Dassault Systèmes for 3DSearch, 3DNavigation, and 3DCollaboration, so that users can query, manage and collaborate on any simulation information regardless of location, source or format.

Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY and Paris: DSY) specializes in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. It is the parent of parent of the Providence-based Simulia, a developer of DS-simulation software including the ABAQUS and CATIA analysis applications. For more information, visit www.simulia.com.
“Accurate and consistent simulation has to be at the heart of any design and manufacturing development process,” said Frank Popielas, an advanced engineering manager at Dassault Systemes.
