Internet security solutions provider DefendNet Solutions, Inc. today announced the signing of agreements with two additional data service providers to deliver Internet security solutions to business customers. The two partners are Advanced Web Hosting & Design, Inc., a full-service provider of Web-hosting and Internet services, and USA Telecom, Inc., a voice, data and equipment solutions provider.
Both companies serve small to medium-sized enterprises (SME), which typically cannot afford to hire, train or manage their own internal security staff. Increasingly SMEs are looking to service providers such as Advanced Web Hosting & Design and USA Telecom to provide a full scope of Internet services for their business needs, including managed security. These providers form strategic partnerships with companies such as DefendNet in order to protect their customers’ networks without having the cost-prohibitive responsibilities of staffing, managing and maintaining a 24×7 network operations center themselves. DefendNet provides solutions such as 24×7 managed firewalls, usage reporting, VPNs, virus scanning, and vulnerability assessments.
