Doris Hernandez of Providence was recently hired as the Community Opportunity Zone coordinator at Dorcas Place Adult and Family Learning Center. She has more than 20 years teaching experience in Santo Domingo and has been active in education and community service. She’s the former program site coordinator for the YMCA Education Program.
