Embolden launches new Rhode Island KIDS COUNT website
Pawtucket, RI: The Rhode Island KIDS COUNT website is sporting a fresh, new look – 20 years in the making.
The redesigned site – http://www.rikidscount.org – is the work of Embolden, the award-winning, internationally known online communications group led by President and Founder Ann-Marie Harrington, also a Rhode Island KIDS COUNT alum. Harrington, a former social worker, worked at the nonprofit in the 1990s, and it was there that she first had the idea to design and build a website.
At the time, Harrington wanted to level the playing field for nonprofits that couldn’t afford websites. Three months after the initial idea, Rhode Island KIDS COUNT had its first site and Harrington had a business plan.
“To redesign Rhode Island KIDS COUNT’s site now, nearly 20 years after I first had the thought of starting the business is an amazing, full-circle moment,” Harrington said. “I am so proud of the work we’ve done for Rhode Island KIDS COUNT and for so many other great nonprofits in Rhode Island.”
“And we’re looking forward to many more years with Rhode Island’s nonprofit community,” Harrington added. “It’s wonderful to do what you love and, in doing so, support so many great, local organizations in the work that they do for our community.”
Embolden’s clients hail from the nonprofit, community foundation and professional services sectors. In addition to Rhode Island KIDS COUNT, Embolden’s Rhode Island nonprofit clients include: Rhode Island Foundation, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Crossroads Rhode Island, Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Meeting Street School, Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, AIDS Care Rhode Island, Amos House and Save The Bay.
