PROVIDENCE — Oskar Eustis, artistic director for Trinity Repertory Company, plans to stay at Trinity.
According to a Trinity press release, Eustis said he has removed his name from consideration for the position of dean of the Yale School of Drama and artistic director of the Yale Repertory Theatre. He said he will continue his work at Trinity Rep, where he will begin directing rehearsals for The Cider House Rules in a few weeks.

Eustis, who along with managing directors Patricia Egan and William P. Wingate has overseen a doubling of Trinity’s annual audience, four years of balanced budgets and $16 million raised to date, is now in his seventh season as artistic director at the theatre.
