TIVERTON – The developer of a 200-unit-plus, age-restricted complex on Mount Hope Bay has broken ground on the final phase of the project.
Tiverton Partners LLC, a joint venture between the Peregrine Group LLC and Starwood Tiverton LLC, said last week that construction was underway for the final phase of The Villages on Mount Hope Bay, a community marketed to people 55 and older. The final phase will consist of 66 new residences – mostly duplex units. Pricing for the new residences will range from $625,000-$750,000.
The new residences are designed by Union Studios and Studio 460 interiors, as well as landscape architects Birchwood Design and civil engineer Woodard & Curran. According to a news release, each residence features single-level living, private balconies offering “spectacular water views,” a public dock for boating and fishing access, and close proximity to the Boathouse Restaurant.
The Villages began its initial phase of construction in 2004, completing and selling 164 residences.
The new residences are being sold by Bridget Torrey of Waters Edge Properties. Waters Edge has been the primary onsite broker for the Villages since 2007, closing more than 75 transactions. •
