CAMBRIDGE – Orange SA, a leading European wireless phone carrier, is joining the search for MIT wisdom by locating an office in Kendall Square. Orange becomes the latest company to put an office here in order to develop software and services to take advantage of higher speed wireless connections, a company spokesman told the Boston Globe. Orange, which is based in Paris, has 38 million subscribers, most of them in France and Great Britain. The company, which is completing its office renovations in a converted warehouse has 17 employees now in Cambridge, but expects to grow to 70 in about three years, the Globe reported.
