Natural gas in the U.S. East fell in trading for Saturday through Monday amid forecasts for milder
weather after a week of subnormal temperatures in some areas.
At the benchmark Henry Hub, gas fell 14 cents, or 2.5 percent, to $5.49 per million British thermal units. It is the first decline this week on the Intercontinental Exchange, an electronic energy market run from Atlanta. Fuel from the depot is shipped by pipeline to the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast, Bloomberg reports.
