Joseph R. Dewhirst has been named group executive vice president for balance sheet strategies at Citizen’s Financial Group. He previously was the treasurer of Bank of America. Dewhirst is a graduate of Harvard University, where he earned a doctorate in social psychology and behavioral finance. He will oversee the asset liability committee and liquidity group.
