NEW BEDFORD — The U.S. Economic Development Administration has approved raising
the level of loans by the New Bedford Economic Development Council from $100,000
to $200,000. The original limit of $100,000 for each loan for the council has
been in effect since the inception of the EDA loan in the late 1980s.
