Terrence Moran, president of McLaughlin & Moran, Inc., and Stuart Mundy, secretary treasurer of Teamsters Union Local 251, announced this morning that the company has reached an agreement with Teamsters Local 251 on a new six-year contract.
Moran and Mundy said that the agreement was reached yesterday after a meeting with a Federal mediator and the union ratified the new contract earlier this morning.

The striking employees will return to work later today. The members of Local 251 had been on strike since midnight, June 30 when their most recent contract expired.
As part of the agreement, the Company and Union agreed to increases in wages for drivers and helpers of 28% and 23%, respectively, by the end of the contract. Additionally, the contract includes 100% company paid medical and dental insurance for the period of the contract and increased contributions to the pension plan.
With agreement having been reached, Mundy announced the immediate end of the Local 251 “Boycott Budweiser” campaign.
McLaughlin & Moran was established in 1936 and distributes a complete line of Anheuser-Busch products.
