Microsoft to host Windows XP launch

PROVIDENCE – On Oct. 30, at the Westin in Providence, Microsoft will host a launch of Windows XP, with demonstrations from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Register by calling 1-877-MSEVENT. In addition, Microsoft will host a free, daylong seminar for business owners and managers on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Westin Hotel. Microsoft Big Day seminars cover topics based on extensive research, focus groups and feedback collected during the more than 800 seminars already conducted in the U.S. and Canada. The agenda was developed to provide solutions to key issues facing small business today including: having the right tools to make informed financial decisions, analyzing data and tracking competition, acquiring and managing capital, leveraging and maintaining a quality workforce and understanding how the Internet can provide collaboration and exposure both internally and externally.
