The Needham Fastpitch girls softball program finished their 14U AAU spring season with a bang last Sunday, June 13th, reaching the Finals in the New England AAU End of Spring Tournament, earning a silver medal for each of the Needham players who participated in the tournament. Needham defeated the first seed (Easton) and the second seed (Andover) to reach the finals of the one day tournament. Playing a one day tournament of four intensely played games against very good competition requires a total team effort and collection of outstanding performances.
