Nestor’s CrossingGuard selected in Tennessee

PROVIDENCE – Nestor Traffic Systems, Inc. has announced that the City of Germantown, Tenn. has chosen CrossingGuard to automate red light enforcement and improve intersection safety. CrossingGuard will be installed to safeguard four approaches at two of Germantown’s high-traffic, high-risk intersections. CrossingGuard uses video-processing technology to detect and track vehicles as they approach an intersection, record a full-motion red light violation video sequence, and transmit the video evidence electronically, in real-time, from the roadside to the Germantown Police Department.
