Woonsocket, RI – Pepin Lumber, a family-run business that has long been considered a Woonsocket landmark, is proud to announce its 65th year in business.

The store will be celebrating this milestone with a series of events and promotions beginning on Thursday, September 13th 2012.

Customers can meet and greet with Pepin Lumber vendors and brand representatives from Atrium Window and Doors, Royal PVC Trim, Simpson strong tie and quick drive, and Nichiha prefinished fiber cement siding. The Pepin Lumber staff will also offer raffles and surprises for customers.

On Friday, September 14th the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting with special guests.

On Saturday, September 15th from 10 am – 12 pm Pepin Lumber will hold a wood craft class for registered participants. Interested participants can call the store for details.All weekend, Pepin Lumber will offer customers 20% discounts off Pepin’s Country Gift Store, special deals and promotions along with offering 65 cupcakes to customers.

Pepin Lumber, located at 830 Cumberland Hill Road in Woonsocket was established in 1947 by Camille Pepin. Today, Pepin’s six adult children help manage the company. The store will also be featured as a success story by the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center.
