Monarch Industries is pleased to announce that Scott Stewart has accepted the role as Director of Retail Project Management effective January 4, 2010. Scott will be in charge of all projects and project managers which combines Retail Fixture and Custom Casework groups. Reporting to Jim Vecchione, Executive Vice President, Scott will play an important role within our retail group with an emphasis on process improvement, lean implementation, and project planning and coordination.

Scott will be responsible for the coordination and management of all retail and casework projects and the group’s project managers. He will work closely with estimating, engineering, and manufacturing in the successful fulfillment of our awarded projects. Scott will focus on scheduling, supply chain, and process improvement as part of his overall emphasis on delivering the highest quality performance for our clients.

Scott comes to Monarch with over fifteen years of experience in millwork and store fixture project management, engineering, and general management. Most recently he was the Director of Project Management for Genesis Innovations, a high-end custom cabinet and architectural millwork company with a focus on the Colorado resort communities. Previous to that Scott was President of Design Fabricators of Thornton, CO and Group Engineering Manager for L.A. Darling.

  1. I think it would be very interesting to have this job opportunity as well. I love managing projects and while working in retail is not my favorite, I do like shopping. That probably makes up for it. 😀
