We all have one shot at living life the way we see it, and we really can create the path we want by being true to who we are as human beings. In all that you do, it is important that your heart and mind work together.

» Be mindful. For me, that has meant creating a conscious company where we make products with integrity. We are always considering, and investing in the option that is the best product for our customer and for our world. The materials that we use are selected with consideration for the Earth and future generations, and our dedication to U.S. manufacturing is at the core of everything we do. It’s important to create products knowing where they’re made, who’s making them and the intentions going into them.

» Nurture passion. The most important thing any CEO can do for a company is to create an environment in which everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their talent. Allowing each person the freedom to raise the bar creates a tribe of strong individuals that truly take pride in what they do. This enthusiastic energy gives us the ability to authentically create products for consumers looking to express themselves and their passions in unique ways.

» Spread positivity. Finally, the law of the universe suggests the more you have, the more you have to give. When you give freely from your heart, without any fear, the positive energy that comes from that behavior is amplified in the most magnificent way. •
