Cheryl M. Zimmerman, president and CEO of FarSounder Inc., has been named chairman of the company’s board of directors. She will replace Jim Miller, co-founder of the company, which manufactures 3D forward-looking sonar systems for marine navigation. Miller will take on the new position of chairman of the Research and Development Advisory Committee and will remain on the board as a director.
