As part of its ongoing global expansion and customer alignment efforts, Textron Inc. today announced it has expanded its Shanghai presence and appointed Ee Soon-Kiong as president of Textron China. From this base in Shanghai, Textron intends to broaden distribution for its existing products, locate manufacturing and service centers, and develop relationships with suppliers.
In the newly-created position of president, Ee will be responsible for helping Textron expand its presence in China. Five Textron business units have added representatives to Textron’s existing Shanghai office to get closer to customers and to take advantage of Shanghai as a key center for commerce and manufacturing.

“The large and rapidly growing Chinese market is a key building block for Textron’s globalization effort.
