Oakdale, CT – The Dinosaur Place is roaring with exciting news! Southeastern Connecticut’s popular family adventure park will hold a news conference on its first opening day of 2011, Saturday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. The news conference will unveil the park’s yearlong anniversary celebration plans. The event will also be the first opportunity for the media and the public to meet-and-greet with the DinoMights, the park’s new lineup of interactive characters.
“2011 will be a totally new experience for our guests,” says Corrina Ferguson, Director of Marketing. “We are proud to have provided such a positive and educational experience for Connecticut families. Our guests have helped create one of the most unique indoor fun and outdoor adventure museums ever built in this region or anywhere else.”

On April 2nd, the media will get their first opportunity to meet-and-greet with the DinoMights, the Dinosaur Place’s new characters that will be a regular feature to the park this year. The news conference will introduce the cast of five DinoMights, including: Lady Lava, Jurassic Joe, Ranger Rex, Monty Jr.
