Washington Trust zoning hearing postponed

Washington Trust’s application for a rezoning change to permit construction of a branch on Centerville Road was stalled last week when opponents managed to have a hearing on the application postponed on a technicality until Nov. 19. The objection was based on the contents of the maps included in the request for rezoning. Washington Trust proposes to build a branch office at the intersection of Centerville Road and Diamond Hill Road, the Providence Journal reported.
