William McQuaid has been named general agent for MassMutual Financial Group, responsible for management of the company’s East Providence operations. He joined MassMutual in 1999 and previously worked in the Virginia Beach office as executive vice president and chief sales officer. He has a B.S. from Fordham University in New York and a chartered financial consultant designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa.
